The successful candidate will have a strong background and experience in experimental and computational fluid dynamics. This includes using reactors and mixers to measure mixing dynamics and development of new mixing models and codes (e.g. using ANSYS Fluent or similar packages). A passion to apply these skills to the scale-up of chemical synthesis of nanomaterials is essential, while a background in nanomaterials is not required. You will have a PhD or equivalent research experience in chemical engineering or related disciplines with a focus on fluid dynamics.
