Remediation of polluted waters and removal of air pollutants are crucial challenges.
Current technologies rely on solutions that are expensive and/or cause secondary pollution.
Our group is investigating:
- Synthesis of green nanomaterials for pollutant removal via catalytic degradation or selective adsorption.
- Understanding the removal efficiencies and rates.
- Use of this technology on ‘real’ samples.
